Professor Caroline Meyer – Understanding and Managing Compulsive Exercise

Caroline Meyer is a Professor of Digital Healthcare at WMG, University of Warwick.

Caroline is renowned internationally for her research into eating behaviour and disorders, having authored circa 180 journal and conference papers in the field. She is a member of the Eating Disorders Research Society and the Academy for Eating Disorders, the European Council on Eating Disorders and the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.

Caroline is Associate and Guest Editor of the European Eating Disorders Review and has held honorary posts at both the Birmingham and the Leicester NHS Eating Disorders Services. She is currently an Affiliate Professor at Warwick Medical School and holds an honorary post with Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust.

Before joining the University of Warwick, Caroline was Professor of Psychology in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, Loughborough University and Inaugural Director of the Loughborough University Centre for Research into Eating Disorders (LUCRED).
