Advisory Board

The level of interest in and appetite for a more coordinated approach to medical humanities within Sheffield has also allowed us to recruit an Advisory Board of remarkable range, experience, and expertise. This will provide leadership for the Centre as a whole.

The Centre brings together members from departments within the Faculties of Medicine, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, and Engineering. It also involves clinicians in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, the Children’s Hospital, and Primary Care.

Our centre not only brings together academic members of the community, it also fosters an environment for our postgraduate students to get involved and be part of the network. At The University of Sheffield we are proud of our reputation as one of the most active centres for research in Britain.
