More about Sharron

Sharron is a lecturer at the School of nursing and Midwifery. She has been carrying out research into gender and health for over 15 years, and has a particular interest in the following areas: ageing, sexual health, and sexual wellbeing; women’s sexuality; and the psychology of health-related behaviours (view an up to date publication list).

Her interest in women’s health began during her undergraduate degree (BSc Hons Psychology), which she developed during her PhD, combining it with social psychological theory to explore the role of social factors on behaviours and beliefs.
