More about Katie
Katie is currently a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Archaeology.
She specialises in the study of human skeletal remains from early medieval (5th-11th century) western Britain.
Katie has a particular interest in the study of disease and physical impairment, and her research takes a holistic approach in order to investigate how funerary rites may reflect the attitude of the living to those who were affected by ill health or physical impairment in the past.
